3x CACIB Wells

Last weekend we set off to Wells to try and get Kaktu's last CACA towards his title. Rain was also entered but because she was still in heat she stayed at home this time. James was as always the clown of the group.

First day was judged by Tamas Jakkel who liked Kaktus a lot and awarded him CACA in superstrong Openclass. Mission was completed!!! Kaktus is now Austrian Champion. Unfortunately Kokobaby decided he is too tired for CACIB competition. James was not shown on Friday due to incapable organisation team at the show. They made mistake by telling me I have not paid fully and did not manage to sort it out before the judging started. I was not able to make it to the ring with James. At least they refunded my entry fee in full ...

After good nap in hotel Kaktus was in much better mood and we won another CACA on Saturday under Hans van den Berg! James placed Excellent 2 under Andrzej Brabletz from Poland.

We should have left Wells at this point because Sunday show was in terrible conditions, our ring was moved to a matchbox size corner in main hall and I came 2 minutes too late to dalma ring ... my mistake, I should watch time more closely ...
Ridgeback were judged by Heliane Maisen Jarish and we all had impression this lady has no idea which breed is she judging ... later we suspected she has no idea she is judgin dogs. After she made some very strange judgements I was seriously considering not entering Kaktus today and I should have done that. His very first Very Good in life - placed 4th and being too small for the judge ... well, congratulations Ms. Maisen-Jarish and we hope not to meet you in ring again or at least until you read the standard.
